FINALLY. IT'S DONE.

So, here's my entry for the Pride Month contest. I'm really, really proud of how it turned out, and while everyone else's entries are incredible and I'm probably not going to be chosen, I'm still pretty happy with it and I'm glad that I drew this, because I learned SO MANY NEW TECHNIQUES. In fact, I suppose this entire piece was just a huge experiment -- a semirealism experiment, a shading experiment, a composition experiment, a pose experiment...

I feel like this moment deserves a big long speech, because I've been putting SO MUCH WORK into this piece, and because I'm SO HAPPY with how it came out.. but honestly, it's midnight and I just kind of want to go to bed. Plus, I have Chinese school exams tomorrow. Bleghhhh.
